Dr. Melissa Ramsey MSN, RN-FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner
Melissa Ramsey is a native of Maryland and is a graduate of Towson State University. She started her career as a Coronary Care nurse at The University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. She stayed there for seven years, seeing firsthand the effects of poor health. She worked the night shift and often spoke to her patients who were either recovering from a heart attack or waiting for a transplant. Often patients would say, “If I could do life over again, I would have taken better care of my health.” That’s where her desire to help people reach their health goals began. She became certified as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer. She is certified in Body Combat, Body Pump, Body Flow, and Warrior Strength. Mrs. Ramsey obtained her master’s from Bowie State University in 2015 and started working at Doctors Community Hospital as a breast cancer nurse practitioner managing their high-risk program. In 2020 Get Your Body Back Wellness Center opened its doors to assist patients in their weight loss needs medically. Mrs. Ramsey is a certified injector trained in injectables and body contouring. Patients who come to the center learn how to safely lose 1-2 pounds weekly, learn lifestyle changes, and enjoy pampering services for reaching weight loss milestones. Mrs. Ramsey is an active member of the American Associations of Nurse Practitioners and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. Melissa is a recently completed Aspen University’s Doctor of Nursing Practice program in leadership in 2023 with a 3.85 GPA. Melissa lives in Bowie with her 3 children Jubemi, Hilton, and Halle Ramsey. In her spare time, she enjoys training for half and full marathons.
Ms. Melinda Jefferson RN BSN, CEO
Registered Nurse
Melinda attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services. She also attended Towson University and received her second Bachelor of Science in Nursing 2005. She is passionate about weight loss and enjoys helping people navigate their way through the weight loss journey. Because she has also struggled with weight loss, she can offer a personal approach with understanding and compassion that this journey needs. She is also a PIYO live certified instructor and enjoys walking and various physical activities.
Samira Bethea, RN
Registered Nurse Aesthetician
Samira holds degrees from Johns Hopkins University with a BS in Nursing and Berea College with a BA in Biology and has spent the past 16 years becoming an expert in aesthetic and cosmetic treatments. She has worked alongside world-renowned and top industry leaders in cosmetic dermatology and plastic surgery, where she gained extensive experience in skin care, injectables, and cutting-edge treatments in aesthetic and cosmetic medicine. She has treated the skin of some top celebrities and knows the key secrets to how they keep their skin flawless and luminous. Her highly specialized experience and training give her a distinct perspective in today’s ever-evolving cosmetic and medical landscape. Samira is a true advocate of incorporating aesthetic and cosmetic treatments as part of a client’s overall health and well-being. She believes that self-care is not an indulgence and is extremely passionate about optimizing the way you look and feel.

Eileen’s commitment to wellness and transformative self-care radiates through everything she does at Get Your Body Back (GYBB). Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Towson University, Eileen harnesses her understanding of the human mind and body to ensure a relaxing, rewarding experience for every client. Eileen’s passion for beauty and health extends beyond her professional life, with a keen interest in discovering and learning about the latest industry trends, products, and services. This insatiable curiosity ensures she always brings the most effective and innovative treatments to our clientele. Outside of work, Eileen’s vibrant personality shines through her love for reading, horseback riding, gardening, and exploring her home in Baltimore City.
